You were at your locker, just getting some books. When out of no where you see Scott Reed standing next to you leaning against a locker. And you would be lying if you said he wasn’t looking fine as fuck.
You know damn well that you were blushing, you’ve always been shy around guys, you were nervous that they might judge you or laugh at you, you’d always start blushing or stutter or just find a way to embarrass yourself. But right now with Scott next to you you were only blushing, it could be worse? You felt a lot calmer around him.
“Hey y/n” he said with that gorgeous smile on his face.
“Hi”
“I was wondering if you wanted to hang out at Monets after school?”
“Is this a dare?” You said with a confused look.
“No, I just want to hang out. No dares. No bets. It’s just me asking.”
“Ok, sure”. You said with a shy smile.
“I’ll see you later”.
The school bell is about to ring and you head to the bathroom, just to fix your hair and makeup. There is no way you were messing this up. For once you thought you actually looked pretty good. The bell rings and it’s time.
You spot Scott waiting outside for you next to his car.
“Ok, let’s go”. He opens the door for you and closes it when you sit down. You thought that was pretty sweet of him but you started feeling nervous once he got in. He started driving and you couldn’t help but ask.
“So why are you taking me to monets if this isn’t a dare or a bet?”
“I think people our age call it a date but I don’t know”
“A date?” You said a little worried. You liked the idea of a date with Scott but you’ve never been on a date with anyone before.
“Unless you don’t want it to be, I don’t mind”.
“Oh, I do, I’ve just never been on one before”.
“Wait, hold on, let me get this straight, your saying you’ve never been on a date before?” He said with a completely surprised and confused look on his face.
“Yeah”. You couldn’t help but let out a small laugh at his expression.
“So you’ve never had a boyfriend before?”
“No”. You felt your face heat up at his question.
“Wow. I have no words.”
Both of you said nothing more for the rest of the car ride. When the conversation ended he turned up the music. He parked the car and you both headed to the entrance. He held the door for you and went in after. You both order your drinks and sit down. You talk and talk and get to know each other a bit more.
“Why do you hang out with Bryce and all them?”
“I only do because we play baseball together, I don’t really have anyone else”.
“Then we should hang out more”.
“Ok, I have to confess something to you”.
“Alright”.
“I like you y/n”.
“I like you too Scott”.
“No, I mean I have feelings for you”. He does that damn smile again.
You laugh thinking it was a joke. “Okay, no but seriously stop joking”.
“No, I mean it, I’m being serious, I’ve liked you for a while”.
“Scott, please, don’t lie”
“I’m not”
“I have feelings for you too”
“Well since you’ve never had a boyfriend, can I be your first?”
“I wouldn’t want anyone else”.
